NORFOLK – Trap shooters and archers team up to compete in a Calcutta trap shoot and archery competition Sept. 15 & 16. Trap shooters and archers will be drawn into teams.  Trap shooters will shoot from the 16-yard line Saturday and handicapped distances Sunday.  Meanwhile, archers will compete in a 3D shoot Saturday and a target field hunt Sunday. The trap shoot will take place at the Elkhorn Valley Sportsman Club Trap & Skeet Range east of Norfolk and the Norfolk Archery Club outdoor range south of the city.

NORFOLK – The Norfolk Country Club is hosting some of the best golfers in the Midwest for the annual three-day Labor Day Golf Classic Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 & 2.

NORFOLK - Approximately 250 bicycle riders from across the United States are expected to gather in Norfolk over the first weekend in August for the annual 7 Cities Century Bike Ride. On Saturday morning, Aug. 4, riders will begin non-competitive event at the head of the Cowboy Trail at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park, then pedal south to Madison and west to Newman Grove where they'll spend the night.
