NORFOLK - The region's top horseshoes pitchers meet at Norfolk's Ta-Ha-Zouka Park July 22. The Eastern Nebraska Charter-sanctioned tournament is scheduled for the park's horseshoes courts.

Ta-Ha-Zouka Park 2201 S. 13th Street, Norfolk, NE, United StatesNORFOLK - Approximately 250 bicycle riders from across the United States are expected to gather in Norfolk over the first weekend in August for the annual 7 Cities Century Bike Ride. On Saturday morning, Aug. 4, riders will begin non-competitive event at the head of the Cowboy Trail at Ta-Ha-Zouka Park, then pedal south to Madison and west to Newman Grove where they'll spend the night. Calcutta Trap, Archery Competition set for Norfolk Outdoor Ranges
Elkhorn Valley Sportsman Park Skeet & Trap Range 55995 842nd Rd., Norfolk, NE, United StatesNORFOLK – Trap shooters and archers team up to compete in a Calcutta trap shoot and archery competition Sept. 15 & 16. Trap shooters and archers will be drawn into teams. Trap shooters will shoot from the 16-yard line Saturday and handicapped distances Sunday. Meanwhile, archers will compete in a 3D shoot Saturday and a target field hunt Sunday. The trap shoot will take place at the Elkhorn Valley Sportsman Club Trap & Skeet Range east of Norfolk and the Norfolk Archery Club outdoor range south of the city.
