Each October, since 2008, Hastings welcomes student-athletes, families, and fans from across Nebraska for the NSAA State Softball Championships. These championships bring together the top high school teams from across the state to compete, showcase athletic talent, sportsmanship, and community spirit. As the host city, we welcome you to experience these tournaments at the amazing Bill Smith Softball Complex, which is recognized as the most elite top-notched softball facility in the Midwest. Come cheer on the teams and watch great softball!!

Calling all MEN!! Come enjoy a fun weekend in Hastings and play in a competitive softball tournament - with a chance to WIN MONEY!! This is an Open Rosters Tournament | No Classification Restriction | 8 Home Runs Allowed. **REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 17, 2026**. Team Fee: ($500). First Place Prize and Top 6 finishers are paid IF the tournament reaches its max of 24 teams, as the payouts are determined by the total number of teams registered.
