The Omaha Sports Commission will host the fourth OSCAS on May 26, 2022 at The Relevant Center. Join us as we celebrate the best athletes and coaches in the Omaha area. The red carpet is rolled out at 5:30PM for nominees with hors d'oeuvres to be served. The show begins promptly at 7:00PM.

The Basketball Tournament (TBT)

OSC is hosting a regional of TBT (The Basketball Tournament) at D.J. Sokol Arena. TBT is a 64-team, single-elimination style bracket of play. Omaha is one of eight regional sites across the country. The winner of the entire tournament will go home with $1 million. Every game is televised on ESPN.

USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle Nationals

The 2023 Girls Folkstyle National Championships is heading to Omaha, NE on March 3-5, 2023, along side the Women Folkstyle Duals at Baxter Arena. This event showcases the quickly growing sport of girls folkstyle on a national stage. Last year wrestlers from 46 states participated in the Girls Folkstyle Nationals, and we expect the tournament to continue to expand. The Duals on Sunday will host Girls (12U/14U) duals and Junior/16U Duals. Dual teams must be state approved teams and are limited to 8 Girl teams and 16 Junior/16U teams. Omaha Sports Commission Regional Spelling Bee

The regional spelling bee returns to Omaha for the 94th year, dating back to 1929. Students from all across Nebraska and part of Iowa will compete to win the Omaha Sports Commission Regional Bee! The National Spelling Bee was formed in 1925. To reach the Scripps National Spelling Bee, students must compete at and win a series of bees to reach their regional bee. The winners of the regional bees move on to compete at Nationals. One winner will travel from Omaha, Nebraska to National Harbor, Maryland and compete on a national stage, aired on ESPN.

A criterium is a bicycle race of a specified number of laps on a closed course over public roads closed to normal traffic. We like to describe it as Formula 1 on a bicycle! USA Triathlon Multisport National Championship Festival Presented by Mutual of Omaha

The 2025 USA Triathlon Multisport Festival is coming back to Omaha! Races will be held at Lake Cunningham, a 390-acre lake surrounded by a 1,050-acre park located in north central Omaha. Lake Cunningham underwent significant renovations beginning in 2017 and reopened in August 2021. Athletes can expect a rolling bike course with a scenic and relatively flat run course with lake views.
